And for added convenience, you can opt for the available power tailgate.

Volkswagen Canada has not released trim option information yet, but we anticipate seeing as many options as the 2021 Tiguan model.

Interior Comfort and Versatility

The Tiguan’s interior is modern, spacious, and offers seating for up to 7 passengers. In fact, the Tiguan is one of the only vehicles among its competitors that offers this seating capacity number. And ample passenger and cargo space is perhaps one of the most notable interior features for this latest model year. Seating is available in either premium cloth or leather finishes, and heated front seats are standard. For added comfort, you can opt for the available leather-wrapped heated steering wheel.

The 2022 Tiguan is anticipated to come standard with an 8” infotainment touchscreen, but you can upgrade to the available 10.3” screen if you prefer. All models will come standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, and it will come equipped with a standard Wi-Fi hotspot.

The Volkswagen Digital Cockpit – Volkswagen’s digital instrument cluster – is an available feature that seamlessly displays your vehicle information in your line of sight. The Tiguan’s steering wheel will also be available with touch-sensitive controls: a feature that puts the vehicle commands you want quite literally at your fingertips.

For added convenience – especially on cold winter days – the Tiguan is available with remote start capability. Warm up or cool down your ride before you get behind the wheel and enjoy a comfortable drive every time.

And for an incredible sound experience, the Tiguan is available with the 8-speaker Fender premium audio sound system.

Each trim of the 2022 Tiguan is equipped with a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with an output of 184 horsepower. Front-wheel drive is standard, but Volkswagen’s 4Motion all-wheel drive is an optional feature. 4Motion all-wheel drive offers different drive modes to ensure the best handling on any road condition.
