2019 Volkswagen Tiguan

If you’re in the market for a European-styled compact SUV with a third row for convenience or occasional use, check out the 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan. This is perfect for families who want city and road-trip usability in their daily driver.

The Tiguan was completely redesigned for 2018 to emulate it’s larger sibling, the Atlas.

The Best Features Are Available

The third row is optional and can be a lifesaver when you’re on carpool or field trip duty.

Yes, it’s small – this is a compact SUV – but it’s totally usable for the occasional kids’ friends coming home with you after the game. The second-row seats slide forward to adjust for more legroom in the third row.. When the third row isn’t in use, the cargo space goes from 12 feet to 33 feat of cubic feet.

AppleCarPlay offers the convenience of using voice-to-text (or call, of course), using your own music playlists and Maps, which we can’t live without! It’s standard on the Tiguan; as is Android Auto connectivity, all with a touchscreen infotainment system. The standard base models include a 6.5” screen and the Highline trim boosts that to an 8” screen.

Everything is right where it should be and within reach in the Tiguan. All the buttons and settings from lights to wipers, cruise control, and climate control are simply laid out. We love straightforward yet sophisticated German engineering.

Safety is a Priority in Family Cars

Standard safety features found in every 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan model include rear door child safety locks, an engine immobilizer, passenger airbag occupant sensing deactivation, daytime running lights, dusk sensing headlamps, LATCH child seat anchors, tire pressure monitoring, traction control and dual front side-mounted airbags.
