In Canada, a settlement has been approved involving affected current and former owners and lessees of 2.0-litre Volkswagen and Audi TDI vehicles after negotiations between Volkswagen and class action lawyers for the owners and lessees.
As of April 28th, affected owners and lessees may submit claims for benefits under the settlement by way of an online portal on www.vwcanadasettlement.ca or a paper claim form (available on the website or by calling the Canadian Settlement Claims Centre at 1-888-670-4773).

Is Your Car Affected By The Emissions Issue?
Volkswagen Canada has set up a way to easily identify if your vehicle is affected. Please use this link and follow the instructions to enter your 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Your VIN appears on your car registration or on the driver’s side of the dashboard, for example WVWZZZ5NZ8W000004.
Please note this lookup functionality only works for Canadian Volkswagen vehicles.
